The worst thing when I was a child was when I almost got hit
by a car. I was 3 years old. There was this big jeep that almost hit me but I
think it tried to. I think I was just short, and that’s why he/ she didn’t hit
me I couldn’t tell who it was because I was so short I was like 3’1 and small.
The reason I
was out there alone was because my brother and sister were supposed to watch me
but they went to the store with their friends. My sister said to me to go in
the house with my mom but I didn’t listen. So I went to play basketball. I was
shooting and when I missed, the ball went into the road and I went to go get it.
Then that’s when the jeep came and that’s when I almost got hit. I was just
sitting there on the ground crying. I could have got up and run but I didn’t.
The other thing was I was at a library and there were a bunch of people around
and everyone saw me crying. It was so embarrassing.
The next day
the same thing happened to me but this time it was at a restaurant called Fat Burger.
It is a place in Cali and there were a bunch a people there too. We were at the
place and I just hoped out of the car and started to run to the door. When I
almost got to the door, there was this big truck that almost hit me. I was
scared. I did the same thing I did at the library started to cry. When my mom
caught up to me she said .started to beat me in front of public and I was so
mad.

ReplyDeleteI’m glad that you didn’t get hit, William! It can be scary as a kid to almost get hit by a car, so remember that it would not have been your fault. If you had gotten hit, the people who would have hit you would have been liable, and your parents would have been able to take them to court. Thankfully, you are okay!
