Going to the beach is one of the best times of the year for me. I love my family. I love the feeling of the sand between your toes and the sound of the waves crashing the shore. After an amazing day at the beach we grill out with barbeque and hamburgers. We play so many games at the beach such as; corn hole, skip ball, and football in the water. The funniest experience at the beach was when my cousin Jacob was waiting for the ice cream man when we were younger. We accidentally distracted him and the ice cream man drove right by him and he chased it down and screamed “Ice cream man, ice cream man!” I love being with my family because we never have any drama and complications. It’s always a good time.

                  When I’m at the beach I never relax because I want to enjoy everything like wave surfing and playing with my cousins. I learn so much when I’m with my family. This year I learned how to fish in the ocean, but unfortunately I didn’t catch anything. It’s not the most exciting experience but it was fun to learn. I was so mad that my older cousin Kate caught three fish, while I didn’t catch anything when I casted right next to her line. The ocean breeze is the best experience and the water is perfect. Some years when we go to the beach there is sand bar that is in the water. A sand bar is a sand mount in the ocean near the shore and is really shallow. One year it was so shallow that my other older cousin Evan skim boarded on it.

                  Every year we go to the beach we get two beach houses because my family is too big to fit in one. Next to our beach houses is a golf course and a bunch of stores to shop and get souvenirs. Every day my uncle and I go on our bikes and bike around the neighborhood and enjoy the ride. My family is really cool and laid back. This year we saw dolphins jumping at the surface of the water, they were really close to the shore. They were so close that my cousin tried to touch one. It was funny because the dolphins chased a school of fish towards him, and he felt every fish and he started panicking. It was so funny. Every time I’m at the beach, I enjoy every day I’m there. The beach gave me some of the best memories of my life.
