The years throughout elementary
school were the best of days. Kindergarten was probably my personal favorite to
look back on. I had Mrs. Koll, the same teacher my 19 year old sister savannah
had. My twin brother, Andrew and I were in the same classes all the way up to
the fourth grade. Then fifth grade came along so fast it was hard to believe.
It was my first time being a ‘’top dog.’’ I was so amazed on how I had already
made it this far and I was extremely nervous for middle school.
My fifth grade homeroom teacher was Ms.
Brielle, I thought she was smoking hot. She was straight out of college from
Virginia Tech. I had so many friends, but my best friend was probably David
Thompkins. We would play around the ‘’big kid’’ bars, chasing girls around and
making them chase us as well. Mrs. Newman, the gym teacher, was Scott Newman’s
mom. I thought she was pretty cool, and knew my parents really well so she was
always really nice to me. Mrs. Hagen, the music teacher would always say “good
morning class.” every day before class.
I was a great kid in Elementary school, I
wouldn’t bully and I stuck up for kids who did. I went to Green Valley
Elementary School, the home of the Cardinals. The school got remodeled when I
was in first grade, and, when I was in fifth grade they finished so I only had
about a year with the new school. To this day I miss every bit of Elementary
school, I miss the naps, lunches and the classes, but the part I didn’t like at
all was the Single file lines in the hallway.
Looking back on these years is very
exciting to talk about, because I had a great time, but the thing I miss the
most is the classroom parties, I loved those parties and the snacks also tasted
pretty good! They were like heaven, I
loved sweets! My favorite teacher was probably Mrs. Levingston, she treated me
like I was her son but I actually never had her as a teacher, she had Andrew. I
was so jealous of it because she was my favorite and she was really young and
nice. I’ll never forget the great memories I had in this school and the
teachers I had.

great job brings back memories
