Josh Saunders

My favorite memory from the past is when I got my miniature poodle Lucy. When I was 9 years old I remember getting off the bus and my mom saying, “Come on Josh get in the car we are going to Radford.”
On the way to Radford I asked my mom and dad, “Where are we going?”
My mom said, “It is a surprise we will be there in a few minutes.” I started to get really excited. We finally pulled in to a driveway of this big house and I did not know whose house it was. My dad, mom, and I walked up on the porch and knocked on the door. I heard a bunch of dogs barking and my heart started racing because I knew now why we were here. We walked in the house and saw a bunch of puppies that were just waiting for a good home. I looked at my mom and dad and said, “Can we get them all?”
My mom said, “No honey, you can pick one.”
I remember sitting on the floor and this one puppy came and sat on my lap and started teething on my ears. From that moment on I knew she was the one. I asked the breeder if she had a name and the breeder said that her name is Lucy. This, I have to say is one of the best memories I have from my past, because Lucy is my life to me because, I wouldn’t never leave her alone and nobody can be mean to her.
